Galleria Il Ponte participates in the Program Italy. Myths, Archetypes, New Iconography, the brainchild of Sergio Risaliti, part of the exhibition within specific Artbook Festival of Books and History of Art, now in its eleventh edition, which this year opens its exhibition market at Italian Galleries which deal in Modern and Contemporary Art. This new Festival deals, from books and the teaching of History of Art, the theme of the Italian cultural and artistic heritage. The theme of this year Italy: Land of treasures refers to the need to rediscover the artistic and cultural beauties of our country, to preserve and enhance a unique and incomparable heritage. Program Italy takes place in the Hall of Acts of King Enzo and the Mayor Palace in Bologna, 18 to 21 September. In this logic of enhancement of monuments the gallery presents the work by Mauro Staccioli, especially the sculpture Rome 2011 (corten steel, 1 meter diameter) realized on the suggestiono f the great sculpture Rome 2011 (corten steel, 10 meters diameter) installed in the parterre of the National Gallery of Mdern Art in Rome.
